  4. Add a software wall safe to your Windows desktop!  Click the
  5. safe's handle with your mouse and the safe's door swings open
  6. (with a sound card you can hear the safe's door move.)  Lock
  7. your files in the safe and set the combination.  Save the safeÆs
  8. contents or your hard disk or the LAN server, or mail the safe
  9. using any form of electronic mail or LAN connection.  Anyone
  10. receiving or accessing the safe sees a locked safe, and can
  11. only access its contents if they know the combination.  The
  12. safe accepts all types of data from disk files, clipboard cut
  13. and paste, drag and drop, OLE, and so on.

  17. Use the Safe Program to protect confidential files transmitted
  18. by electronic mail or stored in public areas such as the LAN
  19. server.  Only people knowing the combination can open a safe.
  20. Allows multiple combinations so that different groups can
  21. maintain separate security codes.  Works with any form of
  22. electronic mail that supports file transfers, including
  23. Microsoft Mail, Lotus cc:Mail, and Lotus Notes, CompuServe,
  24. and the Microsoft Network.

  26. The Safe Program user interface is unique and very easy to
  27. use.  This puts security within the reach of any Windows user
  28. without requiring specialized support from an organizationÆs
  29. IT department.

  33. The Safe Program runs under Windows 3.1+, Windows for Workgroups
  34. 3.1+, Windows NT 3.5+, and Windows 95.  A sound card is
  35. desirable, but not essential.

  40. The Safe Program combines two technologies: Encryption and
  41. OLE 2.0 (Object Linking and Embedding.)  The data is multiply
  42. encrypted using several encryption methods.  The result is to
  43. create the illusion that data files can be dropped into a safe
  44. and locked away for security.  Behind the scenes that program
  45. encrypts the data and will only decode the information if the
  46. correct combination is entered.  The OLE technology not only
  47. allows information to be easily added to the safe, but also
  48. makes the image of a locked safe visible when the safe is
  49. transmitted as electronic mail.  From the userÆs point of view
  50. a safe if filled, locked, mailed, unlocked, and emptied.
